Amazing food, they like community service and supporting veterans.

I asked for some things to be taken off sandwich, didn't notice they were on there until I got home with everything. Couldn't eat my sandwich because I get sick off the things I asked to not have in the sandwich. Usually have great experiences here, so I was suprised this time. Please don't contact me. Just a PSA for people like me who have allergies to be a bit clearer than I was.

Best sandwich in SLO, hands down. The Swiss cheese is delicious and I he turkey is high quality. You can walk out afterwards and feel like you ate real food.

I love the fresh bread and they put a lot of meat on it, they sell other things besides sandwiches they also sell beer soda tea event three different kinds of bread and believe and there's really fresh.mabe to order.dam good.

A nice little place with a huge selection of Deli style sandwiches. The cooks and counter help are fast and efficient. Only four stars due to limited parking.

Pretty good sandwiches. I'm glad, like really thankful, they haven't changed in all these years. Still just a good sandwich at a good price with friendly staff.People really need to learn about all the parking behind and the door on that side as well.

Great sandwich with lots of choices. Great fresh taste. I always assume that my sandwich comes with cheese. I was wrong! Make sure you ask for cheese!

Chicken pesto sandwich was delicious. The bread was super soft. Chicken was not dry and overall had a good flavor.

Worst sandwich I've ever had (Ben's Californian), and the most expensive half cup of Kraft Mac 'n Cheese I've ever had to pay for ($3.94). I had heard their breakfast sandwiches were good, so my wife and I went in for lunch, since we were in the area. BAD CHOICE! The sandwich was lacking taste, meat, and it was bland, as is the case with most of the food here in the Central Coast. Catering to the old grey hairs with dead taste buds. $4 for less than 1/2 a cup of BOX KRAFT MAC N' CHEESE (or generic brand is more likely)!!! Initially, we went to High St Deli, but as usual, there were too many damn college kids. SLO is a horrible place.

Ben Franklins has amazing sandwiches and other meals for lunch, breakfast, and dinner.

Love this place. Looks cool on the outside and is cool on the inside! Fits in well to SLOs chilled vibe. Being an Englishman the American Cuisine some times does not suit my taste but this place I love. Service is always good. Ended up getting a free t shirt from this place because I went so much! Definitely recommend here. Any sandwich is great! Can't choose just one.

Sandwiches were awesome and I had great service.

I lived in and around SLO for 20+ years and Ben Franklin Sandwiches is the only food I miss. Seriously, if you haven't tried their food- rush down there immediately to get a sandwich.

Was ok. I'd go again. We found them in the afternoon. They were itching to close for the day. I'd say don't serve anyone unless you're ready to serve all well. We weren't the last customers either. Still we got fed and enjoyed the food. They shorted us one sandwich of the 3 we ordered but didn't charge us so we just settled for the two. There were 4 of us. I ordered a chef's cobb salad type thing. Pretty good. The lettuce was slightly discolored but still crisp. As mentioned, I'd go again but may also see what else is around.

The service was excellent and the sandwiches taste very good for their price and they are very warm which I like. Or at least you can get them heated and it is warmed up well

Great sandwiches at reasonable prices. I am a tennis coach at Foothill College on its way to the Ojai tournament once a year. We traveled with both the men's and women's teams after our visit of Tennis Warehouse.

The sandwhich portions are small compared to most sandwhich places.

I love their sandwiches and friendly service. The food and service is consistently good. I visit this place at least once a week. The restaurant lobby and bathrooms are consistently clean as well. I normally don't hand out five stars, but I've visited this place long enough to know they deserve it.

Been around forever and owner comes in daily. Loyal customer getting my usual ATC (avocado, turkey, cheese) on whole wheat roll w/ the works,; spinach instead of lettuce. Good menu with lots of choices for sandwiches, wraps, soups, salads & beverages, including beer. Bread & produce is fresh. They pack the meat in. Reasonably priced compared to other local delis. Delicious. Highly recommend. Quick & convenient Hwy 101 access on Higuera St.

I got the cold Italian sandwich it was really good they had it finished real fast

The prices are very reasonable for Slap. The sandwich was good and the clam chowder was excellent. The staff were very attentive and friendly.

Great place for a quick bite

I've been coming here for 20 years and it's still the same, at least I think so. I live out of state now, but whenever I visit home I always check into this place. Sandwiches are good, bread is fresh made, not too much to a sandwich so it's pretty hard to mess it up, but they do make good sammiches!

Friendly counter girl, my sandwich was fresh and good quality. Definitely recommend and I will go back to try other sandwiches. I had the Tuna on wheat roll and it was great! Nice little place, seems like it's been there forever.

Great sandwiches. Lots of combinations. Sandwich sizes are 7" per size up to 21" long sandwiches! Filled with meats, cheeses, and toppings. Definitely worth the price for such a large amount of quality food.

Expensive for what you get. A lot of bread. Fairly good. Servers friendly enough. OK.
